I really like writing hospital scenes. Can't help with the treatment, but from my experience there are two types of doctors:
The sugarcoat
These tend to have dialogue like "You'll be just fine!" and "It's not even that bad!"
The honest one

From my experience, every hospital has one of each. Which one your character will get, you choose.
Hope this helped!

: Is it bad writing or just the plot if the hero ends up being as evil as the villain in order to stop the villain's evil? The villain is evil; he does evil things to the world's people.
