: Re: Character crisis for a Science Hero? I have three protagonists working towards the same goal but with different motives. They are co-protagonists each with their own character arc and resolution.
In Michael Grant's GONE series, there are characters which fit your description.
Action Hero --> Sam
Guile Hero --> Quinn/Howard/Cain
Science Hero --> Astrid
In the series, she's the brains behind a lot of stuff and a few things go against her religion as well as scientific knowledge. She faces a few crises where her morality leads to people dying. Namely, one is where she decides whether to let Sam kill the 'Human Crew'. She decides not to, and the 'Human Crew' then go on to destroy the city, and she feels guilty.
Not sure if this is relevant, but I hope this helps :)
