If I understand the premise correctly you have three plotlines that converge on a single fixed outcome. I like the art of the twist. As such I would let the clues fall where they may and create expectations accordingly, but I would have none of the three plotlines lead in the direction of the actual outcome. The true villain(s) should remain cloaked, the subplots being all complete misdirection.
